I will dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
